Lost in the World

     The general premise of the video is that technology, specifically social media, has trapped us and is keeping us from experiencing life the way we want to. Social media glamorizes people's lives and allows them to escape from their surrounds. Thus, they don't feel the need to make a change in their actual life. 

     I think that the video conveys this message very well. It makes good use of the black and white color scheme to represent and bland, hopelessness, with scenes of color to show contrast between two situations, or presentations of a situation. The video also makes good use of hyperbolic symbolism to reflect an observation of our current social situation in a more intense and literal sense.  

     I feel that this video is more of an examination of our current social situation because social media has already created this false reality that people live in and base their actual lives around.
